Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

LGCY Privates (lgcyprivates.com) is operated by Legacy Volleyball ("Legacy", "we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site to book private volleyball training, and how we use it.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, mobile number, and the name, number and relationship of an emergency contact.
Player details: each athlete's name, date of birth, positions, level, and Legacy team, plus the liability waiver you sign for them.
Bookings: the sessions you book, join, cancel or complete, and the coach involved.
Payment details: handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. We keep a reference to the payment method you choose to save and the amounts held and charged.
Sign-in: if you use Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us.
Usage: if Google Analytics is enabled, standard page-view analytics. We do not sell data or run advertising.

How we use it

To run bookings: showing coaches your player's age, position and level so sessions are matched fairly, telling the coach who is booked, and charging the agreed price after a session.
To contact you about your bookings by email and, if you opt in, by text message: confirmations, reminders, price changes when a player joins, cancellations and credits.
To contact your emergency contact if there is an emergency during a session.
To show an optional public leaderboard using a player's first name and last initial, only if you turn that on.

Text messages

Texts are sent only to numbers whose owners have opted in by providing their mobile number and leaving "Text me confirmations and reminders" switched on. Message frequency depends on your bookings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or turn texts off in your account. Reply HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of booking.

Who sees what

Other families see only a booked player's age, position and level on shared sessions, never a name.
Coaches see the names of players booked with them.
Legacy administrators see everything needed to run the program.
Service providers: Cloudflare (hosting, email), Stripe (payments), Twilio (texts), Google (sign-in, analytics). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for accounting and dispute purposes. You can remove a player from your household at any time if they have no upcoming session, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing info@upstatelegacyvb.com.

Children

Accounts are created by parents or guardians. We collect a child's details only from their parent or guardian, for the purpose of running their training.

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date at the top will change when we do.
